Hey everyone!

Today I just really wanted to talk to you guys about purpose and sacrifice. Did you guys know that everything God created was created with a precise purpose and has an incredible plan that our minds can’t even start to comprehend?

If you are a Christian, you have the audacity to believe in something you can’t really see (besides the miracles, manifestation, and the promises of God). You also are humble, and in faith that there is someone bigger than you that has created you for a bigger plan than yourself.

You, fill in your name, have been created with utmost care and thought. Jesus was born and lived with the specific purpose to die for you.

Most things are illogical when it comes to the way we are supposed to live our lives compared to the way the world lives their lives. So, what do you think being a Christian means? To me, since I’m a Christian, I believe I am supposed to live my life the way Jesus lived his.

Here are some ways Jesus lived:

  1. For God.

Everything Jesus did was from God and for God. Every single decision, action, and thought! He was on a mission as much as we are on a mission now. God ordained Jesus’ life as an example for what all God-fearing people should be. Jesus was human, like us! But He knew the will of God for his life. He went through every temptation of sin and passed every test.

Philippians 2:6-8 TPT “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position as a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names…”

Even in His last days He asked God if there was any other way for Him to save the world without having to die. But God told Him it was the only way we could be connected with God again. Jesus sacrificed himself for God and for us, because of love.

Matthew 26:38-39 “Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

  1. Because of Love.

Jesus had a passion inside of Him. He was driven everyday by love. Everything He did was because of love.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

God is love. He loves us so much that He sent his son to die for us just so He could have a relationship with us. You are worth so much to Him! Everything Jesus did was out of His passionate love for us.

  1. For us.

Jesus selflessly loved us without conditions. Some hated Him, and others loved Him and followed Him. He genuinely cared for the lives of everyone and wanted them to know about the bigger and truer happiness than what the world has to offer. He was patient, and He radiated love in every area of His life.

Philippians 2:3-5 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value other above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.”

Jesus truly lived this out. He valued every person above himself; He genuinely and selflessly cared for their needs above His own. He loved us so much that there was a sacrifice made so we can have a relationship with our Father.

You have been created with a purpose! Today I really just want to encourage you guys to really let this all sink in. Jesus loves you so much! His deepest desire is to have a personal relationship with you. All you need to do to start this relationship with the Father is pray and ask Him into your heart. Then you can truly experience His love and the amazing life He has planned for you!

We love you guys so much, and have an amazing week! J
