Once a quarter at Faith Life Church, Women of Worth (WOW) hosts a night out for women to come together, enjoy dinner, share fellowship, experience worship and receive encouragement. It's by women, for women. Whether it is hearing a Word from a special speaker or just taking time to talk with another woman who understands what it is like trying to potty-train a two-year-old, you will enjoy laughter, refreshment, friendship and renewal. WOW also offers other outreaches and resources.

 

Pastor Drenda Keesee started Women of Worth Ministries out of a response to the restoration that God brought about in her own life. Before she came to Christ, Drenda was a staunch feminist who never wanted a husband or a family and struggled with equating her worth to her performance. She found, however, that no matter how hard she tried, she never felt good enough. Insecure and wanting to give up on life, Pastor Drenda finally surrendered it all to God and began to watch a miraculous change occur in her hear. Now, 23 years of marriage and five children later, she has left that empty, insecure, broken young woman behind and has found new life in the power of God's restoration.

 

 

Pastor Drenda's heart goes out to the many women who do not understand their worth to Father God. Women of Worth Ministries is about helping women from all backgrounds, races and ages - wives, mothers, singles and empty-nesters - to come together in emotional, spiritual and relational wholeness. It's about discovering the source of true worth and the foundation for a joyful life. It's about experiencing the ministry of God's love and restoration. And it's just for you.
